Tradewinds Plants took a tour of Lake Burrendong to check out the scenery.

Tradewinds Plants took a drive out to Lake Burrendong near Wellington NSW Australia. We found some awesome examples of Brachychiton trees including Queensland Bottle trees, Kurrajong trees, Illawara Flame trees all growing in the western region of NSW. How much does Lake Burrendong cost to get in? Burrendong Dam costs $12 per car and allows the use of swimming pools and waterslide. There is a nice café with amazing views of Lake Burrendong and surrounding countryside. This is a popular place for waterskiing and boating and fishing, all within a short drive from Dubbo and Orange.
